Observations
Today I saw numerous Wet Loose avalanches at Tam MacArthur Rim that occurred both on Monday and Tuesday. The largest ones (D2) were from the warm up and light rain on Tuesday. They seemed to have been triggered by small cornice collapses. There were several new D1 slides on East facing slopes this morning.
It also looked like there had been a sizeable (at least D2?) Wet Loose slide on the Thayer Glacier on North Sister from Monday.
