Signs of Unstable Snow

Observations

Snowmobiled on the motorized side of Tumalo. Small residual cornice along parts of the rim, some evidence of old (guess 7+ days) slide debris under the surface snow, but not crown or slide path visible.

Tested the slope about 1/4 up the bowl near the small trees. 285cm deep, several small crust layers present below 20-30cm of storm snow but not highly apparent. All layers seem to have bonded nicely. CT 28S, 25cm in recent storm snow.
